Outstanding Service and Exceptional Quality! I recently had Wellington Building Services (WBS) Limited contracted through Tower to repair a bathroom wall following an insurance claim, and they completely exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, the communication was clear and professional. Roy, the Production Coordinator, provided a comprehensive 10-day timetable outlining the entire scope of work, which involved removing the old lining, installing new jib, waterproofing, and repairing and decorating the adjoining walls. Working on an older house always comes with unexpected challenges, and in our case, the team discovered a wall that required a double-jib setup. Despite the extra time this demanded, the team worked efficiently, resolved the issues quickly, and still managed to complete the entire job right on schedule—saving the extra day that could have been needed. What truly set WBS apart were the thoughtful, extra touches throughout the project: Proactive Choices: Instead of automatically using standard white grout, they asked for our preference and suggested grey, which turned out to be a much better aesthetic choice. Attention to Detail: They went above and beyond by replacing an old shower rod, perfecting the edging, and adding other finishing touches. Immaculate Cleanliness: The carpenter, tiler, and decorator were all exceptionally tidy, meticulously laying down cover sheets to protect our home during the process. I have absolute confidence in the WBS team and would not hesitate to recommend them for bathroom restorations. Given the high standard of work on this project, I am certain their other services are equally impressive. Thank you to Roy and the entire team for a fantastic job!

Wellington building services have been amazing on my blown away gates (three! What a storm!) insurance claim. I told tower they are the best contractors I’ve ever dealt with re communication. I always knew what was happening, when, and they both did quality work and then addressed minor things (slight paint fix up) with sincerity and diligence. All staff I came into contact with, builders, painters, project manager Roy, were great at what they do, communicative and I would (and actually have) picked up the phone to get other issues dealt with by them. Dependable. Reliable. Good at what they do. Thank you WBS.

Just had Roy and the team finish up the work on my insurance claim for my bathroom. The whole experience working with WBS has been great. Roy has clear, professional, timely communication and managed the whole job efficiently and effectively. Marcus, David and Huia were all great and highly professional in their work, leaving an excellent finished job for my boarders to now use and enjoy. Sheila, Roy and the team were exceptional to work with while we navigated post-storm repair. Quality work, plenty of communication and following up with various contractors. Their thoughfulness, care and consideration with our elderly family member really was above and beyond and that’s what makes WBS special. Would have no hesitation working with them again.

WBS repaired water damaged kitchen panels and did a great job. You wouldn't know this kitchen had been damaged.

WBS managed insurance work at our place - organised carpet replacement, and some painting/plastering. They were always great to work with and replied promptly to emails etc. Shout out to Huia who did the painting etc. - lovely guy and did a great job.
